perfect human beings → taylor swiftI see myself as kind of this girl who writes songs in her bedroom. You can dress it up all you want and you can put together an amazing theatrical production; you can become a better performer as time goes by, and you can try to excite people. But I'm always going to be a girl who writes songs in her bedroom in my own personal perception of myself.

You’re the closest to heaven that I’ll ever be and I don’t wanna go home right now.
I’m a firm believer in optimism regarding the music industry. So many people are preaching doomsday, and I’m just not there. I just don’t feel it. Sales and stats show that if you are giving the fans part of your life, they will invest in it. I just refuse to believe we are going down in flames.
You've got intensely falling in love and intense time going through terrible break ups. These completely opposites, these polar opposites on the emotional spectrum, they're things that we all go through. They're really difficult to go through, they're difficult to verbalize and I call them in my mind "the crazy emotions" because falling in and out of love can drive someone absolutely mad. If i had to pick one color to represent these crazy, out of control, passionate, terrible, wonderful, sad, beautiful, tragic emotions, the color I would pick San Diego, it would be red.
Things you get to do as a fan:
Buy their music
Buy their merch
watch their music videos
request their music on the radio
cry with their selfies
laugh with their interviews
Things you don’t get to do as a fan
choose who they should date
hate on the people they date
act like you own them
be an asshole
i feel like tall people at concerts have everything they want in the world
